Mass in occasion of the Jubilee’s closure

On the eve of Thursday the 15th of September 2005, the jubilee celebrations concluded, with strong hope and faith, by displays of gratitude and prayer so that God can grant the Sisters of the Cross his never-ending grace, in order for each one of them to become, in a loving manner, enlightened by faith, represented by the spirit of the founder, offering free services to the young brothers of Jesus, and is based on a strong hope to carry Christ all around the world. Prayers and invocations were dedicated to those who died for the sake of holiness, and for those that considered the cross the joy and the pulse in their heart, Abouna Yaacoub, the golden jubilee for his absence will be the beginning of a new era, where he will rise and achieve beatification and sanctification. The mass took place in the convent of the Cross, headed by His Beatitude and Eminence Cardinal Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir, patriarch of Antioch and the Whole Levant.  An immense crowd of bishops, priests, clergy, superior generals, friars and sisters from all types of communities, provinces, towns, parishes and churches have participated in this solemn eucharistic celebration.
